Hyundai LNG Shipping, Company-wide ESG management... Achieves 'ZERO' Environmental Law and Regulation Violations

Hyundai LNG Shipping, which plays a key role in the transportation of liquefied natural gas (LNG) in Korea, received the Minister of Environment's Award for ESG Environmental Management at the 2024 National ESG Outstanding Companies.
Hyundai LNG Shipping was the first Korean shipping company to operate LNG carriers in 1994, and since its spin-off from HMM as a portfolio company of IMM Private Equity in 2014, it has become the largest liquefied natural gas carrier (LNGC, LPGC) operator in Korea.
As part of sustainable management, Hyundai LNG Shipping has established an environmental management policy since 2019 and obtained the environmental management system (ISO 14001) certification.
In accordance with the recommendations of the Task Force on Climate Change Financial Disclosure (TCFD), Hyundai LNG Shipping have established a company-wide climate change response system.
Hyundai LNG Shipping has achieved 'ZERO' violations of environmental laws and regulations in the last three years. There has not been a single oil spill causing serious damage to the ocean since its establishment.
