In tribute to Hyundai LNG Shipping’s 10th anniversary, we would like to thank all stakeholders and employees.
Since its spinoff from Hyundai Merchant Marine with only seven LNG carriers in 2014, Hyundai LNG Shipping has grown into Korea’s largest specialized liquefied gas shipping company operating 15 LNG carriers, 6 LPG carriers, and one LNG bunkering ship after 10 years.
Hyundai LNG Shipping has grown from a small shipping company in East Asia to a leading domestic energy shipping company by embracing all the functions required for a shipping company to participate in new bids, forming a global network, and negotiating with numerous global energy companies.
Hyundai LNG Shipping will stay complacent with what we have achieved in the past 10 years, but will prepare for the next 10 years. The first priority is to ensure that the vessels being delivered are stably and safely operated in the course of business. Moreover, we will continue to work to enter the eco-friendly ship market, such as ammonia carriers and LCO2 carriers, and to expand the FSRU and FSU businesses. Internally, we plan to establish an IT advancement and environmental data management system by prioritizing the stabilization of the newly introduced ERP system. From an ESG management perspective, we plan to establish a mid- to long-term social contribution system and undertake external social contribution activities. Hyundai LNG Shipping is implementing these plans one by one.

All Hyundai LNG Shipping employees, including me, will perpetuate our best effort with professionalism to make the company last for another 100 years.
